2025

Epicurean Indy International Food Festival, an innovative event spotlighting Indianapolis' vibrant culinary and artistic scene, returns Saturday, August 29, 2026. Inspired by the dynamic atmosphere of international markets and open-air food festivals, Epicurean Indy promises a unique fusion of food, beverage, art and music. The event features a public outdoor festival with over 30 International vendors.

Admission to the Epicurean Indy International Food Festival is free and open to all ages. Chefs and artists will sell their food, drinks, and art directly, retaining 100% of profits—underscoring Epicurean Indy’s commitment to supporting local businesses and enriching Indianapolis’ cultural vibrancy.

“We are thrilled to bring back the Epicurean Indy International Food Festival for its third year to champion the incredible talent within our culinary community,” said Chef Youssef Boudarine, founder of Epicurean Indy and owner of J’adore Pastry. “Our mission is to amplify chefs whose flavors reflect global traditions and showcase the vibrant experiences they bring to Indiana. By creating this platform, we’re not only celebrating our city’s rich, multicultural food scene but also helping ensure these chefs thrive economically. We want every guest to leave with a deeper appreciation for the global flavors shaping Indianapolis’ culinary landscape.”

For the first time, Epicurean Indy is partnering with Chreece Hip Hop Festival to emphasize the connection both food and music have to culture. We’ve been drawn to Fountain Square (FSQ)  for years as a hub of creativity in Indy. The team behind Chreece recognized over a decade ago that FSQ is fertile ground for cultural events. Not only do they highlight music and artists that wouldn’t otherwise be on the main stages, they also bring artists from around the world to perform alongside local audiences. We are excited to join their program of successful events by a team of young creatives making Indianapolis better for the next generations. Our festivals may have looked different in the past, but under a microscope, we’re made of the same stuff.

Epicurean will be part of The People’s Village. From Chreece: The People's Village at Chreece is a free, open-access community space designed to bring people together through art, culture, food, and connection. Located in the heart of the festival footprint, the Village will feature local artists, makers, clothing brands, and small businesses, creating opportunities to shop local and discover Indianapolis' vibrant creative community.”

Epicurean Indy invites everyone to share in the flavors and stories that make our city unique, highlighting chefs from all backgrounds while fostering a welcoming, supportive environment for the future of Indianapolis cuisine.

The annual James Beard Foundation Fundraising Dinner will be held October 2, 2026 at The Alexander Hotel.
